Automatic Alliance Sync — Keep Your Alliance Roster Up to Date

We're introducing Automatic Alliance Sync, a new feature for Orbio-KingShot that makes managing your KingShot alliance easier than ever.

Keeping your server's registered accounts up to date can be time-consuming. Players join, others leave, and manually maintaining your roster takes effort that alliance leaders could spend elsewhere.

With Automatic Alliance Sync, Orbio-KingShot can take care of roster updates for you. Enable synchronization for an alliance, choose how often it runs, and let the bot handle new registrations and departed members automatically.

🔄 How Automatic Alliance Sync Works

Once synchronization is enabled, Orbio-KingShot periodically retrieves your alliance roster and compares it with the accounts managed by that synchronization.

Each synchronization can:

• Register new members: Players who join your alliance can be registered automatically.
• Remove departed members: Accounts managed by the synchronization can be unregistered when their owners leave the alliance, subject to the safety checks described below.
• Keep your roster up to date: Your registered accounts stay aligned with your alliance's membership without requiring an administrator to repeat the same work manually.
• Show synchronization results: Check when the last run occurred, how many accounts were added or removed, and whether any registrations were refused.

The result is a more reliable way to manage alliance registrations as your community grows and changes.

⏱️ Choose Your Synchronization Schedule

Every alliance has its own pace, so you can choose a schedule that works for your community.

Available intervals are:

• Every 24 hours.
• Every 48 hours.
• Every 3 days.
• Every 7 days.

Synchronization cannot run more frequently than once every 24 hours.

You can enable, resume, pause, or disable synchronization from the alliance page in your server dashboard. The interface also displays the latest run and any relevant errors.

Automatic account management needs to be reliable. That's why synchronization includes safeguards designed to prevent accidental removals.

Only Manage Accounts That Belong to the Sync

The system only removes accounts that were registered by the synchronization itself or that the administrator had already registered manually from that alliance roster when synchronization was enabled.

Accounts registered independently by another member, including through /ks register, are not removed by the synchronization.

A Grace Period Before Removing Departed Members

A member who disappears from the roster isn't removed immediately.

The system waits until the member is absent for two consecutive synchronization runs before removing an eligible account. This helps protect against temporary roster inconsistencies.

Protection Against Unreliable Data

If the roster cannot be retrieved, comes back empty, or appears suspiciously incomplete, the synchronization skips removals rather than risking the loss of valid registrations.

When fewer than half of the managed accounts appear in the retrieved roster, removals are skipped for that run.

Automatic Pause When Requirements Are No Longer Met

Synchronization is automatically paused if the server loses its Premium eligibility or the administrator who enabled it leaves the server.

The dashboard displays the reason so that administrators can understand what happened and take the appropriate action.

Your existing registrations are not automatically deleted just because synchronization is paused.

The number of supported alliances depends on your plan. If your server changes plans, synchronization is adjusted to respect the new limit. Existing configurations are preserved, and eligible synchronizations can resume if the server becomes eligible again.

Automatic synchronization runs as a background task, helping it stay separate from the request capacity reserved for regular users.

It also avoids unnecessary API requests when a roster has already been retrieved recently. This helps keep routine synchronization efficient, even when multiple servers use the feature.

The goal is to provide reliable automation without creating unnecessary load or interfering with normal bot usage.

🚀 How to Enable Automatic Sync

Getting started is straightforward:

1. Open the Orbio-KingShot Dashboard and log in with Discord.
2. Navigate to My Servers and select your server.
3. Open the Alliance Tool and find the alliance you want to synchronize.
4. Enable Automatic Sync.
5. Choose your preferred interval and save your settings.

The dashboard will show the synchronization status, the most recent run, and any additions, removals, or errors.

Make sure your server has an eligible plan and that the person enabling synchronization has the necessary permissions.
